DRAFT
Each manager will draft a team consisting of a minimum of 7 players and 1 defensive team up to a maximum of 13 players and 2 defensive teams. Each week you will start :
1 Quarterback
2 Running backs
2 Wide Receivers
1 Tight End
1 Kicker
1 Defensive Team
These are the minimum # players needed to start each week. The Maximum roster size will be 17(including 2 injured reserves). You can have as many players as you want at a position except for defense where you can a max of 2.
The draft will last 15 rounds with the odd numbered rounds going from pick #1 to #16 and the even numbered rounds going in reverse order.
KEEPERS
You will have the option of keeping one player from last years roster. If you choose to have a keeper it will take the place of your 1st round draft pick. Your keeper must be declared approximately 1 week before the season starts. If a player was kept the previous year he can not be kept again regardless of which manager had him.
There will be a 13 week head to head season with games beginning the 1st week of the NFL season. Playoffs will start on week 14 and end with the championship game on week 16.
The 16 teams will be divided into 2 conferences and 2 divisions in each of those conferences. During the regular season you will play each team in your division twice, each team in your conference once, and 3 more games at random against the opposite conference.
The top team from each division as well as the 2 next best teams in each conference will make the playoffs. Teams will be seeded from 1 to 4 according to record. The division winner will always have the 1 or 2 seed. Week 16 will be the have the championship game as well as the 3rd place game.
LINEUPSLineups will be due no later then 1 hour before the 1st game of that week. Your lineup will be due regardless of whether you or your opponent has anyone playing in that game.
Lineups should be emailed each week to the commissioner as well as the manager you are playing against. You will receive a 50 cent credit each week of the regular season that you send your lineup in to both people. If you are not getting a lineup from the opposing manager make sure you let me know so I can fix it.
In the case that you have a player that is questionable that week and you are not sure if he will play or not, you may when you turn in your lineup designate a backup player at the same position to replace him if the questionable player does not play at least one down in that game. To avoid ties you may submit a list of an additional 3 players or defenses each week in order of who you think will score the most points. If there is a tie from the regular lineup I will go to the 1st player on your list and the one with the most points will be declared the winner. If there is still a tie I will refer to the next player. If you do not submit the list you will score a zero for your tiebreak points.
PLAYER TRANSACTIONS
Each team will be allotted $10M for trading funds. Manager’s who want to pick up a new player will be allowed to place their bid from trading funds each Wednesday. Bidding will be "closed bids" for each player, so each manager must judge the level of interest in a particular player before placing a bid. Bids will be evaluated on Thursday and player trades will be "official" as of Thursday. Players may be dropped from a roster at any time.
You can place a player on injured reserved for any reason but there can only be 2 players on I/R at the same time. There will be fee for each time that you put him on and take him off the I/R.
